Depending on what features you want id say you can get a quality acoustic for around 200. If you go used maybe even better.

Unless you go high end brand isnt as important. So any of the large companies would be a solid purchase with decent resale values.

Ibanez, epiphone, fender, go to a guitar center and check out what you like aesthetically, go home search reviews on youtube etc. Then search for a deal on what meets your criteria.

Just buy a cheap guitar to start off. There's no point spending a bomb on a nice guitar to find that learning the guitar isn't for you.
