Wlad by KO seems to be the safest bet.

Wlad is -175 on Bet365 to win the fight outright.

Those are good odds, IMO.

I'd throw down $500 if I had it. It would payout decent for the amount of risk you're taking. I would honestly give Haye a 5% chance of winning this fight. So for those odds, I'd throw everything down.

Yeah, boxing is the only sport I am still up on, every other sport I've lost money on over time.

Unless I bet on the underdog, I always bet on method of victory, to get decent odds. You can get some really good odds on those bets. I think I got like 4 on Adamek by decision against Arreola.

I've read all kinds of books and have plenty of experience. I'm pretty good, but I do it solely for fun. Good thing, too. There's a reason why those huge, expensive hotels in Las Vegas continue to operate. It's because gambling is an extremely lucrative business where the house has a decisive advantage over its clients.

Sports betting is notoriously stacked in favor of the bookie/house. Sure you might get lucky for a while, but the odds always exert themselves in the long run. No doubt, there are some geniuses making money off sports wagering, but there are very few of them walking around. And even those guys spend every waking hour dedicated to their craft. They don't dabble...it's a profession.

Just a few words of caution from a knowledgeable stranger who cares just a bit. Play small and be humble. Gambling is entertainment (or should be) for 99.9% of the people who do it. If you think gambling on sports is easy you're already overconfident and setting yourself up for financial ruin. Bet on it.

e never once been down against the bes on sport betting. Why?

Because i pick my bets wisely. Betting is about when you dont bet, more than when you bet.

We can all win big money, but its when you win that makes you want to have more.

I stop myself at 6/7 bets per year, and they are on things ive researched tremendously.

Add the fact, that the public dictate the odds greatly stack it in the coniseurs favour.

Plus i dont bet at casinos, but ive been in las vegas and made 100 dollas profit, so im up against them.

"A plucky gambler has taken on the bookies and won by amassing a fortune backing a string of red-hot favourites.
The anonymous 33-year-old has put together a 23-bet unbroken run that bookies believe is a world record, turning an initial stake of £8,500 into £135,528 over less than two months despite restricting himself to bets that carry only tiny risks.

By focusing only on hot favourites - such as top tennis stars in the first rounds of tournaments, or boxers who go into bouts which are clearly mismatches - he has patiently built up his kitty into a fortune.

Bookies William Hill told The Sun that the punter they've dubbed "Dead Cert Man" is enjoying, "the most spectacular winning run in recent memory."

Most of his bets have been straightforward: he landed nearly £1,500 on a first round treble of Novak Djokovic (at 1/14 on), Rafael Nadal (1/20) and Roger Federer (1/33) all to win their first-round matches at the Miami Masters in March, and scooped £6,000 by backing boxer Nathan Cleverly (pictured right) at odds of 1/16 on to beat a no-hoper who was a late replacement for original opponent Juergen Braehmer."

That guy lost it all a few weeks ago when he bet it all on Novak Djokovic over Federer.

lmap it was gonna happen eventually. And you cant really call him 'dead cert man' if he's betting against roger federer! obv thought he was invincible.

It could have gone pear shaped sooner when cleverley got troubled by that "no-hoper" before it was stopped on a nothing cut

Also to the op, imo and a lot of other peoples, DeGale won that fight....you wouldn't be calling your fellow Brits thick then...

i thought groves deservidly won, he nicked to many close rounds. Degale work raste was poor, and groves schooled him on the back foot.

At best you could only give degale a draw imo.

The bbc 5 live pundits gave it to groves and the press row gave it to groves.

Boxing is where I'm most successful at betting. Anything else I usually end up broke, and I've lost far to much on football betting.

Boxing/UFC, is probably the safest bets you can make in terms of predicting what will happen. Sure you can't win them all, but even so smart bets can win you money. I know there is a guy on Boxrec who wins thousands on Boxing betting but he is very smart guy and knows what he's doing.

I know the dead certs often come in but sometimes they can come back to haunt you, there is always that chance they mess up. I prefer to bet for value and probability before placing my bets now.

I have a cheeky 5ver spread over a couple of rounds on Rhodes to beat Alvarez, at 66/1 (pick your round) it's massive value.
