Why does no media mention that the Mavericks got this far without Caron Butler

Huge factor right there. That was one of their main starters that averaged around 15pts a game and then they would still have Terry come off the bench. How much would that have helped through out these playoffs? Caron would add more field goals, 3 pointers, defense, and he was pretty much the only explosive player they had.

Honestly their better off without him. Marion is doing a much better job then he would have. Yeah it gives them another option on offense but he can't guard Lebron or D Wade like Marion has...

C'mon you cant ask who needs Caron Butler. Not to mention Brendan Haywood has been injured and we had to witness that awful french player play crucial minutes in the NBA finals.

You gotta point with Haywood but seriously, they would lose this series with Butler. He's just another Jason Terry. More of a shooter then anything. Lebron & Wade would have had their way with him.

Marion is a defender and a good rebound/tip in person which is crucial. Whereas Butler would stay behind the 3 point line.
