Messi for me. Most of the old timers I've talked to who've been watching football since the 60's say he's the best they've seen since Maradona and Pele.

Zidane is one of the most complete footballers of all time, absolutely amazing but if I had to pick I'd have Messi in my team over him.

You can't really compare as they are totally different players. But at a push i think i would say Zidane > Messi but both will go down as some of the best players of all time.
