Chavez wasnt at all fond of training other than sparring, and apprently loved his beer a little too much. also had a bad back, which is why he would stand up inbetween rounds in some of his fights.

Pacquiao's work ethic is truly what has made him the great he is today.

Julio Cesar Chavez holds the world record for more world title fights than anyone, with about 37 World Title fights.

Ricardo Lopez comes in 2nd, with about 25.
and Joe Louis comes in 3rd, with about 24.

Chavez went 84-0 untile he went up against a steroid cheating-Frankie Randall.

Pac doesnt even come close, not even half of what Chavez has accomplished.

what Chavez meant to say in that interview, was that if he used EPO Steroids/Hormones like Pac does, and handpicks easy "shot" has beens like Pac does, and ducked tough fighters like Pac does, then yeah....he'd still be fighting today.

Chavez never ducked anyone.
Pac ducked so many fighters and has been scared to fight Mexico's Humberto Soto, Juan Diaz many times.

Pac has also ducked: Joan Guzman, Edwin Valero (when he was alive), Tim Bradley, Zab Judah, Floyd, a Miguel Cotto rematch (cause Cotto wants Pac to take steroid tests), Yuri Foreman, and dozens more.

yeah, EPO Steroids/Hormones has helped Pac come this far.
