LOL-you don't want to see pictures of Ricky's "natural" weight...if you did, then you would understand that Hatton had an easier time making 147 than 140...in fact, the 2 guys Ricky fought after Floyd couldn't pack a punch (even though one of them severely rocked him) to expose him again. The first time (after the Floyd fight) Ricky faced someone who could punch,he got destroyed...draining down in weight between fights would have done something to him as well...especially with how big he was getting.

Hatton was the lineal champ at 140 after he beat Kosta. Mayweather was scared to fight him at that weight. At 140 Hatton would've KO'd Mayweather and Pacquiao send the lineal 140 champ into retirement.
To this day Pac is still the lineal 140 champ. |

Idiots will say otherwise. Hatton was unbeaten going into the Mayweather fight and full of self belief ,look at the build up footage, you can see Hatton really thought he was going to win. He was with his old team and it was tight.
After the Mayweather beating Hatton suffered from depression it shattered his mind set. He broke up his original team and started being trained by crackhead Mayweather senior who was trying to teach an old dog new tricks. How on earth against that background can you say "Cowards will say Floyd"? |
