A few sources in Mexico are reporting that WBC lightweight champion Humberto Soto (55-7-2, 32KOs) is possibly going to defend his title on either June 4 or June 25, against Daniel Estrada (25-2, 19KOs). The fight will happen in Mexico with the venue and location to be determined. The fight is reportedly close to a deal with both boxers already organizing their training camp schedules. Soto was going to face Urbano Antillon in a rematch on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard on May 7. He withdrew after declaring himself a free agent.

Soto been active Lately but he should fight rios or marquez since hes free fight marquez dat would be a really tough fight for both

Soto went from possible great fighter to bum after he got schooled by Guzman...he should of fought antilon or rios but he is afraid of losing since he sees threats with those two guys.

Who is Daniel Estrada??? Poor Sotto, he wants to let go from Arum just to avoid a rematch w/ Antillon...

An Antillon fight is a hard & risky fight, but it creates fireworks & excitement to the fans that leads to a more interest in watching the fight...Because of the risk, he avoids Antillon but leads to an unknown fighter a move that is a waste of time...I expect Sotto to be match w/ great fighters, time is running out for him...

i want to become a huge soto fan so bad, but the guy just refuses to step up to the plate and fight anyone other then fellow public transportation drivers. come on soto bust a move and try to get fight against rios or marquez. robert guerrero, or **** even katsidis coming off the loss to guerrero. you gotta stop this ****, soto.

This is why i stopped supporting Soto Estrada lost to Reyes Sanchez at the end of last year Reyes Sanchez lost to Tony Demarco 2 months ago.So Estrada gets a crack at the title
