Yeah, I was responding to the people that were saying Mosley should be above Ortiz.
Before the fight everyone was saying Berto is the 3rd best Welterweight in the world(or 2nd if you don't count Floyd)...Then he loses to Ortiz and people are trying to say Mosley should take his spot?? Na...The guy that beat him deserves that spot. |

Nope! PBF is still have the lineal claim @ 147. He may be inactive but not retired. The lineage is clear and intact.
The question should be Pac-SSM for WW Ring belt? Very unlikely but there's the slim possibility. Pac at Ring's #1 and Mosley @ 3 rankings should seal the deal BUT Ring rules said, "SOMETIMES" a box-off between number-one and number-three rated can win the vacant title. Another reason maybe is that Ortiz vs Mayweather is looming in the horizon which also have a say in the 147 rankings where Ortiz is #2 while PBF just dropped due to inactivity but still a contender and has the lineal claim. |
