I don't see why he would stay with GBP, it would be destructing the chances of a fight with pacquiao. arum will make the fight in a heartbeat if he doesn't have to share revenue with GBP. Marquez should sign a one fight deal with arum, or allow him to promote the fight, and then if he makes enough money he should start promoting himself for his last few fights. he is a smart man who is an accountant - so he can crunch some numbers.

While I agree that Marquez wouldn't fare well at all against the top Welterweights, I am still curious if he can time Pacquiao - because he is ****ing surgical with his strikes. But yeah, at 147, even 140 now Pacquiao is just on top of his game, and is simply the best fighter in the world. He is way too much for Marquez at this point.

And whats the point of that fight? If he's a free agent he can get fights with Pac or any other promoter out there including GBP fighters... I say go it alone.
