Post Comments Thread For: Photos: Vitali Klitschko Stops Odlanier Solis Mega Gallery

It was the shortest fight in Vitali Klitschko's championship career and one of his shortest fights as a prizefighter. It took the WBC heavyweight champion less than three minutes to arguably lose the first round of his collision with previously unbeaten 2004 Olympic gold medal winner Odlanier Solis (17-1, 12 KOs) - before scoring a disappointing injury-forced knockout of his chubby opponent.

the gallery is garbage, all i see is the moments when solis blocked his jab, solis had that round easy, it was shaping up to be a good fight till the injury..... bad result for heavyweight boxing.

Looks like solis got hit on the head, caused BOTH his legs to go wobbly, he then injured himself and the fight was over

I agree with you and did you happen to see the punch that Solis blocked with the side of head? It sent him to la-la land and he fell over.

Solis bailed the second he got hit hard.

Looked like he planned it that way -- too bad he couldn't keep straight which leg was supposed to be injured.

Solis is history, never to be heard from again. He'll weigh 300 pounds in two months.

Next!

That fraud Vitali would have been beaten without that stupid injury.
