By Jake Donovan - Super bantamweight contender Rendall Munroe returns to the ring on Saturday, April 9, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
Perhaps the UK’s most famous binman, Munroe (21-2, 9KO) will fight in an eight-round bout against an opponent to be determined at Houghton-le-Spring’s Rainton Meadows Arena. The bout marks his first since coming up short in his failed title bid last October against super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka.
