The problem is he's small in stature even for 118 and has to get that much closer against larger fighters like Moreno and Donaire. They took advantage of this. He was able to close the distance and time Cordoba though, who is also tall though. He beat Poonsawat in a close, but clear fight (the only fighter to do so, IMO) and should've gotten the decision in the first Cordoba fight. I think that proves he was a solid fighter. |
