Better resume: Martinez or Donaire?

at the moment, martinez has a better resume, but he is really at his peak (let alone on his way out)
if nonito continues the way he is, which is highly likely, he'll have a great resume by the time he decides to call it a career...both are great fighters though, but martinez atm.

I don't think highly of the Sidorenko win, and as Earl pointed out, Martinez has fought bigger opposition. I know he's a late bloomer and made his way into the scene late but he's consistently fought better opposition than Donaire. As a whole it's close, but Martinez has the clear edge.

Moreno and Donaire were bad matchups for him IMO.

Sidorenko is like other fighters from Eastern Europe, in that he comes forward behind his shell, but is technically solid and has faced good competition. The problem is he's small in stature even for 118 and has to get that much closer against larger fighters like Moreno and Donaire. They took advantage of this. He was able to close the distance and time Cordoba though, who is also tall though.

He beat Poonsawat in a close, but clear fight (the only fighter to do so, IMO) and should've gotten the decision in the first Cordoba fight. I think that proves he was a solid fighter.

Without question IMO.

Being in the top 5 for 4 years in the deepest division today means you have to be atleast a solid win.

Let's not forget the fashion he beat him in, which made it an even better win.

I guess so, again my criteria is different.

however if Serg beat Dzin on his next fight or had he KTFO P.Will on their 1st fight, then maybe i'll put him up above Donaire

But if Donaire fights and beats Moreno this May, I'll put Donaire ahead of Sergio again.
