We all know this has been goin on for the last few weeks(especially after Egypt rose up against their Gov.), but Gadhafi's son has just stated that they better kill the noise or they will instruct the Military to open fire on them till the last bullet is shot. WOW!!!!! Now I understand you cant just have unruly uprisings, but to threaten your people to use force down to the last bullet against them is just plain nuts!!!!! Thoughts people????????

thats nothing man, he has benn sending out fighter jets to bomb the protesters, but luckily they are defecting to other countries instead of following rders, his only chance is mercearies from other neighbouring countries....

he's already hired serbians to do the dirty work

why are oppressed countries like this being left to their fate while that was one of the primary reasons the US attacked afghanistan and iraq?

And the stated reasons for the invasion of iraq were always reasonS, plural, more than one. The main reason was suspicion of WMD and the concern that they could fall into the hands of terrorists (post 9/11). It was no different from any other war, you point out every spot on your enemies face to justify your attack. We certainly did not invade Germany because of what Hitler was doing to his own people, and we were not ignorant of it. It's also not why we invaded iraq the first time, WITH the consent of the U.N.

Gaddafi has made oil deals with western countries, i think he has threatened the oil supplies so thats why there not so vocal (like blow the fields up or something)

nobody ever talked about WMD it was insinuated but never literally said...it wasnt even stated in the reports that leaked. the primary reason for attacking afghanistan (next to finding bin laden) was freeing the afghan people from the terrorist regime of al quaida....same with the dictorship of saddam hussein
