No knock on Donaire but his success is mostly attributed to his size

Don't get me wrong, he's the total package, well balanced, skilled, but being so much bigger than his opposition has greatly contributed to his success. People can't deny that, and don't get offended and say I'm tryin' to bash him because I'm not. I never had a problem with P.Will, Caballero or Margarito facing smaller opponents, so why would I have a problem with Donaire doing it? I like Donaire too.

It's obvious though because we've all seen constant threads of Donaire vs. Juanma or Gamboa, even Max brought this to Donaire's attention; on Donaire possibly moving up to FW, so we all know what people are seeing here. Montiel was still a great win and I'm not discrediting his win at all. Just that some like to deny that Donaire's size hasn't played a role.

Size is def part of his success, but his success is mostly attributed to his size?

          Simply no, its not

You're saying it as if he was Montiel's size, then he wouldnt be that good

It helps that he has been bigger than most of his opponents but it also helps that he is faster, can punch, and has skills too.

Is that size as in height?

I'd agree with you, though that left hook he potently has dropped on Montiel and Vic previously had something to do with his patience and ring IQ. He basically has that gift of a boxer's general feel on how to break down an opponent, and he showed it last night and can do it in such a short span of time early in the fight.

                  waitaminit, DOM

weren't you just having arguments a couple of months ago with Paul Williams haters talking about 'if you can make the weight....'

and now Nonito is winning because of his size? in his 2nd fight at a higher weight class, now its all about size?

                  kinda sad dude
