Pontiac, Michigan - WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley landed more punches in six of ten rounds and landed the harder punches all fight-coming forward all fight at the Silverdome. Was Devon Alexander looking for a way out down the stretch?

Bradley landed the cleaner, harder shots between the two. I can only remember like 5 clean shots landed by Alexander the entire fight. Bradley was using his gloves to catch Alexander's punches most of the night, which was very effective. If they rematch, I think Bradley will win even more convincingly. He should have had Alexander on the ropes the entire night because on the inside, Alexander has no game at all....Bradley was completely dominant there.
Pretty even as far as output but Bradley clearly dictated the distance and pace of the fight. Bradley is a fighter that really wins fights by taking the other guy out of their games more so that dominating them with punch output. |
