[PLEASE HELP] What sport/sport position takes the most skill and athletism

I was watching the superbowl and at the end of the game, a yank commentator said that the quarterback takes the most skill and athletism.......

Needless to say, I thought he was talking crap......

What sport, or what position within a sport, takes the most skill and athletism....

I dont really know about the most athletic but it is an extremely hard position

that depends on the type of sports in consideration.

on one extreme are object orientated sports that require the manipulation of certain objects, such as basketball, baseball, soccer, American football, la-cross

the other end are body-kinetic sports that does not include the third party object this includes: boxing, mma, gymnastics, swimming, running...

a sport that requires a high magnitude of skill and respective athleticism from both categories will also lose when compared discretely to either category.

Pure skills, I would say Tennis or Golf
Pure Athleticism, High Jump, 100m sprint, weight lighting

I would say nthat Tennis requires both skill and athletism as it is very hard to anticipate where the ball will be hit and you have to run forwads backwards and sidewards
