Not the biggest Hopkins fan, but the truth is that Hopkins fought a young, prime Roy Jones. Fought Trinidad when Tito was a monster. Fought Oscar in 2004. Fought Tarver after Antonio's best wins. Fought a young Glen Johnson. Fought Pavlik when Kelly was on top. Fought Pascal when Pascal was on top. Fought an elite-level Calzaghe.

Pacquiao fought Cotto (at 145) after Miguel was beaten down by loaded gloves. Fought a jerky-dry Oscar (in 2008) at an unhealthy weight. Fought Margarito after Tony was brutally KO'd and had a long layoff. Fighting Shane at 40 years old when Shane hasn't won a fight in over 2 years. Fought Clottey coming off a loss.

Hopkins has fought brawlers, speed guys, power punchers, white guys, black guys, latin guys, slick guys, slow guys.

Hopkins fought all smaller men. Ask him to move up at cruiserweight or heavyweight and will see what he really made of. Also don't forget he said. No white boy can beat him then Calzaghe owned his ass.

So you're giving pac credit for beating a few weight drained fighters?? But you seem to forget that he got smashed by JMM..pac moved up in weight because it was a smart plan by him and bob arum..80% of the opposition was from top rank and 99% of the opposition could NOT come in at the weight the title was supposed to be defended at..they all had to shed pounds to comfort pac..but pac could not gain or lose a few pounds to face either jmm or martinez??..but well done i bet you're happy with him fighting floyds 3rd leftover in may
