we all know he hits hard but is it as hard as ppl make out he stopped ortiz on his feet and only cos ortiz quit and cayo was stopped wi a body shot and he could not stop corley and corley got stopped in the fight before so is it overrated

It definitely is. He does not have the one punch knockout power that some boxers have but like the first reply said, he can bang for sure.

When talking about overrated or underrated.. It all depends on who is doing the rating and how they are doing it...

Id say besides Holt, hes the biggest puncher in the division... We could probably even exclude Holt at this point..

his power is not overrrated the problem with maidana is he lacks fundeltmentals.if he acutally had a trainer that was worth a ***** and taught him to compact his punches and more body weight behind his punches his power would be unreal. gracia would be a perfect trainer for maidana too bad it will never happen
