He says a fight with Pacquiao is impossible because of the Filipino's demands on the weight. Regarding a fight with Mayweather, Martinez thinks the clash is possible for the end of 2011.

At this point as much as I like Sergio I don’t see either fighter stepping up to the plate to fight him.

Sergio Martinez is not rated higher than Mayweather because Mayweather is #1 P4P.

Mayweather vs Martinez would be a great fight and easy win for Floyd.

you sure it would be easy? i dont know about that man i think that sergio is a pretty slick southpaw and mayweather struggled against zab early (although he did make adjustments and won a great fight) but you gotta remember how much bigger sergio is than zab, IMO segio would give floyd a lot of problems and it would be a great fight for the sport

Well,Martinez may be sexy,but he isn't very smart!!I don't see how he thinks Floyd would fight him if he won't fight easier guys!!

Martinez is right on with this one. When and if Mayweather decides to comeback and a fight isn't made with Pac, Money has fought the enxt best P4P guy available his last two times out. The middleweight champ is the next best P4P, so it makes sense. Personally, I'm much more excited about the prospects of Mayweather-Martinez than Mayweather-Pacquaio. But hey, I'd settle for either at this point.

BTW, Martinez beats Money via UD.
