GL: It's been brough to my attention that there's some things you'd like to get off your chest. ********** is all about giving the fighters a forum to voice their opinions, so the floor is yours Senor Estrada. "Bascially man, it's about this ***** that's going on between me and my manager and Boxing 360. I was being a gentleman about the whole thing and keeping it on a low. But then they come out with some bull***** on some website, I don't even remember which one it was, but basically what they tried to say is that me and my team aren't professional and don't know what we're doing because we turn down good offers and ***** like that. But the whole thing really, what they're trying to say about us is exactly what they are. They're a bunch of amateurs, they know nothing about boxing and they're very inexperienced. After my win that I had with Lora on ESPN, we were offered a fight with Mike Jones for $75,000. When Boxing 360 brought it to my attention, I was like hell yeah I'll fight him. Boxing 360 was like we're not going to take the fight right now, we're going to get one or two more wins and then fight him for more money and I was like that sounds good.

"Boxing 360 was interested in working with me from the start and they were basically salesmen who pitched a good game. They said they were going to promote their own shows and I was going to be on their card and they were going to be promoting me. I was going to be their star, you know what I'm saying? We passed up the Mike Jones fight and then maybe a few weeks after that they start coming to me with bull**** offers for $15,000 against guys who are pretty good fighters. 20-1, 20-2, **** like that. I'm thinking okay, you pass up $75,000 for Mike Jones and now you're offering me $15,000 to fight a guy who might be just as dangerous as him. It just made no sense, so I turned those fights down. Even though I know I could beat the guy, why put myself through that for $15,000 when I just came off a win against a guy who was 27-0, so that's how all this **** started."

GL: I was also told something about you not receiving a minor belt.

David Estrada: "Yes. That's the other thing that really pissed me off. When I fought for the USBA and won it, I got the #2 ranking in the world. This belt was for the WBC something and I still haven't been ranked by the WBC. I never got my belt and I never got my ranking and that's the promoter's fault. Between their bull**** offers, I mean, all around, they're just inexperienced, unprofessional and they don't know **** about boxing. They have no idea what they're doing and then they try to turn the tables and talk bad about us. I don't even like to talk man, all I like to do is train and fight. It's not my job to be talking about people and this and that, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and let it be known."

GL: Is the fight with Franklin Gonzalez still a go?

DE: "Yeah, that's going to happen. I weigh-in tomorrow and fight Friday. I'm feeling good and I'm ready to take care of business on Friday."

GL: How much of a distraction has all this stuff that you've been telling us been?

DE: "I haven't allowed it to become a distraction, I let my manager handle all that. But when I read that on the internet, I was like this is bull****. I just had to get this off my chest and I'm glad I've finally gotten the chance to talk to you again."

GL: What are you hoping a victory over Gonzalez leads to?

DE: "I hope I get a big fight if not, maybe something for the USBA, something like that."

at this point is estada a top ten ww?Canelo seems to be focused on
getting bigger fights.

No doubt in my mind Estrada belong in the top 15.

Look at the ranking in all the major sanctioning bodies top 15 ... Estrada easily beats a good percentage of them, this is insane he is not ranked in the top ten.
