Time to set the story straight, Floyd Mayweather has never ducked any fighter ever..

People have been brainwashed in believing Floyd ducked the likes of Cotto, Margarito and Pacquiao.
    This simply is not true.

Take Margarito for example, People will say Floyd didn't want to fight him but that is not the case.
The truth is, it has been stated and quoted by Bob Arum via ESPN, "Floyd tried to make a fight with Miguel Cotto, Oscar De la hoya and Ricky Hatton whilst working with Top Rank, He was also going to Accept the 8million dollars offered to fight Margarito."

Floyd Mayweather turned down the purse to meet Margarito on August the 12th, on HBO PPV just after Judah,
Instead of doing that he exercised a Provision in his contract with Top Rank to become a promotional free agent and bought himself out for 750,000 dollars...
In his contract with Top Rank he had a window to abid by to buy himself out,
He done this at the time in order to get a fight with De La Hoya as Bob Arum was not interested in that for Floyd.

He said down with Bob Arum and went over this and they where okay, they where cool about it, there was no problem or friction between the two.
And here is why, Leonard Ellerbe was quoted by ESPN, Floyd passed on the Margarito fight at the time because he had an injury to his right hand, which he picked up against Zab Judah. This is his exact quote, "Floyd is not 100 percent healthy," Ellerbe said. "He has a bruised right hand. His hand is not broken. It's bruised, but it's a bad bruise. He wants to go into any fight 100 percent healthy. If Antonio Margarito happens to be the best available option when he is healthy, so be it.
"We are not turning down Margarito. I want to make that crystal clear. When and if he is the best available option for Floyd's next fight, that's the direction he will move in."
Floyd Mayweather Jr. rejected promoter Bob Arum's $8 million offer to fight welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito, and he instead exercised a provision in his contract to buy Arum out.

Everyone was saying "Floyd is ducking Margarito, 8Million would be his biggest ever payday," which is clearly untrue,
Everyone knew they weren't seating in waiting on Mayweather, the results of De la Hoya-Mayorga was going to be the big turning event.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

Floyd Mayweather Jr. rejected promoter Bob Arum's $8 million offer to fight welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito, and he instead exercised a provision in his contract to buy Arum out.

Ellerbe said Mayweather opted for the buyout so he could be "more in control of when and who he fights next. It's as simple as that. There is nothing bad between Floyd and Bob."

So everything was good when the split took place, but everyone wants you to believe that they where at odds when the buy took place, thats not true.
Bob Arum stated himself he wanted nothing to do with the Mayweather fight.

Arum also stated, "We intend to get back together, everything with this was honorable and good, I had offered him numbers for a Multi million dollar fight contract extension, But he has higher expectations right now. He had a window to buy me out and he did it. We decided this was the best way to handle it, he is a free agent, We have agreed to work with eachother in the future."

Arum wanted Floyd to stay Flexible in the option to fighting Maragrito down the road, but he took 12million to fight Baldomir not 8.1million as previously stated by Arum, Who was the RING magazine champion and #1 WW in the world. Margarito was not.

    That is the truth.

No more lies, Just quotes and Facts.

    People lie, Facts don't.

All of the lies started to come out when Mayweather-De la Hoya did the numbers it did because Arum was pissed he didn't want to be involved and was previously quoted in saying that "The fight won't be worth doing."

Thats when Arum claimed Floyd ducked Margarito but the truth is there.

Floyd came back and fought Marquez over top WW's ESPECIALLY Cotto who WAS a draw as proven by the Pacquiao fight.

Every fighter ducks other fighters. No one is immune to it. No matter how much Floyd Mayweather nutsuck warmers want to deny it.

"we'll do it later, it will be bigger".

            He retired instead.

            Floyd to Pacquiao,

"hes one dimensional and ordinary, easy fight, easy work".

He went on vacation to beat his family instead.
