Not much, but how much of a difference would it make, cutting these out of your diet all together?

Depends on what you replaced them with and what the rest of your diet is like. If the rest of your diet is good and you're overweight, then you should lose weight by cutting out high-calories, sugary foods.

Depends on the sugar/calories/caffeine of the fizzy drinks.

Salt(/sodium) is in many things so you'd struggle to cut it out completely btw.

yeah exactly not all fizzy drinks are bad but most juices etc even contain high levels of sugar so if your loading up on lots of sweet drinks and then you cut them out your gonna notice a difference of course.

1 16.9oz bottle of rootbeer is like 300 calories

As a rule of thumb just try to avoid processed foods they loaded with salt + other crap, better to make your own.

I raarely drink soda mostly repace it with lightly or non sweetened tea if I need a soft drink. Funny thing is after a while what you used to consider bland actually becomes pretty tasty

Its good to eliminate those other one's but you don't want to eliminate salt all together. Salt is necessary to live...lol

It's good to eat low salt or sodium because it makes the body retain water and weight.

If you are going to drink soft drinks or sugary sports drinks, then it would be better to do so after training. As your body's energy stores are depleted and simple sugars and fast digesting carbohydrates are ideal.
