And who the hell leaves their weed accessible and easy to find for their kids?

I bet the parents lock up their porn in a safe with two locks, but leave their weed and guns out in the open.

I blame the parents 100%. Not for smoking pot, but getting caught and allowing this DARE officer to have more influence and gain more trust from the child than they can. These parents give a bad name for weed smokers.

IMO it's f*cked up DARE is allowed to tell kids that weed is "dangerous." Tell them it's illegal, sure, but "dangerous?"

I forget who said it, I think it was a musician, but this person said in an interview that he and his friends ended up getting hooked on heroin partly because they were told how bad and evil weed was and when they tried it and found out they liked to sit around listening to music and eating junk food when they were high they figured parents/authorities were lying about all drugs. Then they tried H and got F*CKED UP.

The parents are stupid though for not doing a better job of hiding the marijuana from the kids.
