Post Comments Thread For: Uicab Outhustles Dapudong, Rahimov Beats Thompson

At the Convention Center in Cancun, Mexico, Wilberth Uicab (28-5-1, 17 KOs) outhustled Edren Dapudong (19-2-0, 10 KOs) to capture the WBC Silver flyweight title by way of a twelve round unanimous decision. Dapudong was the favorite coming into the fight but he allowed Uicab to stack up the points early and was unable to change the tide until he was too deep in the hole. No, he's trying to find something that Dapudong ate in the last week that could have meant he struggled to make weight, like some ice cream. He's also looking for some bad treatment by the promoters which may have led to Dapudong feeling sorry for himself which led to the bad performance.

His gloves weren't special and he couldn't get his favourite socks and the bar in his hotel room wasn't stacked enough and his sparring partners were not good enough and they didn't want him to win so none of them tried hard.

Overall, he lost but it wasn't really a loss because he should have won if he didn't lose because of outside forces that conspired against him to lose when he should have won. So, really, he actually won by losing.
