Default Morales Offers Limond Rematch

Quote:
According to Willie Limond, Erik Morales has offered him a rematch following the Mexican legend’s sixth round win last weekend.

Limond was floored three times before being stopped but Morales was so impressed with the Glasgow fighter’s boxing ability he’d like a rematch.

Limond silenced the pro Morales crowd early on in their fight by showing sharp boxing skills to match Morales but Limond claims things started going wrong when he suffered breathing difficulties in round four

Altitude problems may have caused the breathing problems but it was not possible to travel to Mexico any earlier than he did.

“Ideally I would have been over there four weeks before the fight, but that just wasn’t possible,” Limond told Clyde One.

According to Limond, Morales is planning one more fight before facing him for a second time, probably in Mexico.
