Toney didn't submit Lawal on the ground. It was a standing guillotine, and it isn't a story, Lawal confirmed it on video. The basic standing Guillotine position is pretty familiar to Boxers.

According to some reports Couture says he has talked to Lister and Lister claims he isn't even training with Toney, but who knows what to believe anymore either way, unless it's the person on video admitting it..

Of course a professional fighter is going to be very strong and technical.

It'd be a mistake though to compare Toney to a normal human being.
