I'm talking about the 21 year old light heavyweight boxer with a 7-0 record with 4 KOs not the basketball player. I tried looking him up on youtube but it just comes up with all the basketball stuff. I typed in Isiah Thomas vs some of his opponents but nothing came up.
Southpaw Thomas had his first bout in 2002 and kept winning becoming a two-time junior Olympic national champion and easily grabbing the world championships in 2005 drawing high praise from Emanuel Steward:""I have a kid who will be the next big thing - Isiah Thomas," says Steward. "I don't have to teach him much, he's a gifted athlete. I haven't seen anyone as good since Mays." Since then his career however has stalled somewhat as his two losses against compatriots in 2006 and his loss to Deontay Wilder at the 2007 National Golden Gloves attest. Has anyone ever seen him box? Is he any good? http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat...uman_id=469781 |
