Default A good diet reccommendation?

Hey guys, ever since i was little, i was never sure what good foods to eat when training. I do more work than most guys at the gym and because I'm a swarmer/pressure fighter i need to have a lot of stamina to carry my punch from round 1 -10. I spar 10 rounds with a buddy of mine, we find it a good way to prepare ourselves.

Stay away from all processed foods, eat wholesome foods, avoid extra condiments. And drink plenty of water and 100percent fruit juice if you can't deal with just water. Just cleaning up your diet can improve not only stamina but overall health.

Don't know the nutrional makeup of wheaties. Eat lean foods.
Fruits, vegetables, proteins (chicken, fish, beef), brown rice instead of white rice ( can substitute rice with quinoa (cooks like rice and has good amoun of protein, considered a super food). I can't give you a full diet plan because a)you may have different needs b) I don't want to and c)there are great articles online on fighters nutrition. What. I can tell you are the basics. Also, make sure to drink plenty of water. Avoid processed foods, excessive carb intake, sugars etc. Let's say for example you have two energy tanks. One is glucose/glycogen (sugars, carbs) and the other is lipids (fats) if you constantly add carbs and sugars to that one tank then you can have a great strong body underneath fat but if you clean up yor diet and now your sugar tank is low (relatively) then your body will start eating away at your lipid tank(fats) for energy. Hence the saying, "abs are made in the kitchen". You can have a strong and defined body but without a lean diet it'll be stuck under a layer of fat. Anyone else care to chime in and correct or add on to what I've said? Hope this helps.
