That is not true. At all.
Pacquiao very much carried his power up, in fact, has gotten more powerful. Oscar has phenomenal chin, and while he was never knocked out or down, those punches were making him wilt. Cotto at welterweight can take a shot, he doesn't have a great chin but he's got an above average one, and Pac HURT him with one punch. Clottey refused to open up cause he felt Pac's power and did not wanna get knocked out. I don't care what angles you punch from, when you're hurting guys consistently like Pac has, you are punching with some serious power. |
