He already agreed to 8oz gloves with Manny the fight time... He doesn't even like 10oz gloves he was complaining about them in the Oscar fight... If he agreed to 8oz against Shane when he had all of the negotiating power and leverage why even ask this question?

well im no advocate by any stretch of the alphabet orgs BUT i will say that the WBC/WBO/WBA/IBF all have 8oz for welter and lower as standard issue unless other contractual arrangements are made or requested and agreed to. Also, Nevada had 10oz as a requirement for fighters 135lbs and under but have since allowed the gloves upto 147lbs.
