KNOWRISK: the last "slick" boxer shane fought

was Louis Callazo. And if my memory serves me correctly Callazo was getting shots in and backing Shane up in the first couple rounds. If Callazo had success, what do you think Floyd gonna do.......exactly. Especially when he realizes that Shane doesn't punch as hard as people say he does. It just "looks" like it's so hard because his punches are WIDE and he grimaces & closes his eyes. Let's not forget that Mosely was pretty much written off as a "gate keeper" before the Margarito fight. And that's ONLY because people thought Margarito was better than he actually was. TRUE STORY.

Collazo is a good boxer but got dominated. Sure he broke his hand but he lost 9-3 or something.

you have to take into consideration collazo is a southpaw so it could have thrown mosley a little off but you do have a point though

Collazo got one good shot in the whole fight, Mosley beat him with ease.

I'm only referring to the EARLY rounds. Cause if Mayweather has EARLY success, I don't see Shane adjusting like in the Callazo fight.

LOL Ask "impossible to KO" Margarito, Vargas, Mayorga and the other 39 who have been KO'd by Mosley if he doesn't hit hard.

Shane was never a gatekeeper, do you even know what a gatekeeper is? Its a fighter that tests young up and comers before they become contenders. Mosley was getting title shot after title shot at 147 and never made under seven figures for any of his fights.

You dont knock 39 out of your 46 opponents out by having overrated power. If theres anything overrated about Shane its his boxing technique. He has a flicking jab and not the best defense.

If you put it in the sense that if Collazo had succes then...well Floyd would probably brutally KO Shane cuz Floyd is a much better fighter in every aspect. I dont see that happening, I dont even think Floyd sees that happening

So much for your educated opinion

Let's be honest, Vargas hasn't had a chin since he fought Trinidad. As a matter of face, he'd been "rocked" by feather fisted fighters after the Trinidad fight. Mayorga ALSO lost his "chin" after Trinidad. In the case of Margarito...if you hit ANYTHING 8 million times it'll eventually break! lol Don't get me wrong, I think he hits harder than Floyd, just not anywhere near as hard as people think he hits.

When you're fighting Fernando Vargas TWICE IN A ROW and NO ONE bats an eye, you are INDEED a gate keeper. Collazo having sucess has NOTHING to do with Floyd KO'ing brutally KO'ing Shane. I NEVER said that. And if you weren't being so "sensative" you wouldn't be reading into what I said to even think that. But with that being said.......I WOULD NOT be surprised if Floyd stops Shane. No knockdowns, just a dominating performance where the corner steps in. Don't let that Margarito fight fool you. Shane is NO WHERE NEAR the fighter he used to be.
