Kelly Pavlik would be castrated in America if he did what Abraham did. Kelly has had 3 meaningless defenses and he has been written off as a bum. Abraham had 11 meaningless defenses and he made his name off of them.

Boxing Scene bigotry rears its head again.

Top 10 of what? Gary Lockett was rated #1 by the WBO. Rubio was rated #1 by the WBC. Espino was rated #5 by the WBC.

Rankings don't mean anything. Skills and resume is where it's at.

          I'm talking Ring Magazine rankings.

OK, that's a start. At the same time, 160 has been a weak division outside of top 3-4 guys for a while now.

Of the top of my head I know Vyacheslav Senchenko is rated #10 at WW by the Ring right now. Would you consider that a legitimate win for anyone right now?

Abraham deserves credit for the two Miranda wins. S. Taylor, Jantuah, and Demers are at least recognizable names. Plus, he was able to produce a handful of "KO of the year" worthy stoppages. But to say that he walked through a murder's row of opponents at MW is just not true.

But you just said all his 11 defenses was meaningless. So you retract that statement now?

Sure. Nine meaningless defenses. Two good defenses.

Marquez, El****, Simon and Gevor lost every meaningful fight at 154-168. The closest thing Ayala has to a good fight is a draw with the Paulie Malignaggi of 160 while he was green. You can give him a pass if you want, but yes the rest are rubbish, and he probably is too.
