Default Classless, Ignorant, Racist Tea Party protesters

hoop://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/20/tea-party-protests-nier-f_n_507116.html

Abusive, derogatory and even racist behavior directed at House Democrats by Tea Party protesters on Saturday left several lawmakers in shock.

Preceding the president's speech to a gathering of House Democrats, thousands of protesters descended around the Capitol to protest the passage of health care reform. The gathering quickly turned into abusive heckling, as members of Congress passing through Longworth House office building were subjected to epithets and even mild physical abuse.

A staffer for Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told reporters that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) had been spat on by a protestor. Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), a hero of the civil rights movement, was called a 'ni--er.' And Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) was called a "******," as protestors shouted at him with deliberately lisp-y screams. Frank, approached in the halls after the president's speech, shrugged off the incident.

But Clyburn was downright incredulous, saying he had not witnessed such treatment since he was leading civil rights protests in South Carolina in the 1960s.

"It was absolutely shocking to me," Clyburn said, in response to a question from the Huffington Post. "Last Monday, this past Monday, I stayed home to meet on the campus of Claflin University where fifty years ago as of last Monday... I led the first demonstrations in South Carolina, the sit ins... And quite frankly I heard some things today I have not heard since that day. I heard people saying things that I have not heard since March 15, 1960 when I was marching to try and get off the back of the bus."

"It doesn't make me nervous as all," the congressman said, when asked how the mob-like atmosphere made him feel. "In fact, as I said to one heckler, I am the hardest person in the world to intimidate, so they better go somewhere else."

Asked if he wanted an apology from the group of Republican lawmakers who had addressed the crowd and, in many ways, played on their worst fears of health care legislation, the Democratic Party, and the president, Clyburn replied: "A lot of us have been saying for a long time that much of this, much of this is not about health care a all. And I think a lot of those people today demonstrated that this is not about health care... it is about trying to extend a basic fundamental right to people who are less powerful."

******* Rant On!!

And I'd like to say for the record that Tea Party protesters, are racist cowards who don't have the balls to be racist one on one, so they do it in a way that keeps them safe. By attacking politicians, who cannot retaliate.

F*CKIN COWARDS ...... And just in case any fu*kin racist, cowardly, Tea Party protesters are members here - be duly warned, do not protest in or around my air space, because I'm going to call you out on both your cowardliness and racism attitudes and then give you an Olympic style ass-whippin that you will remember for the rest of your miserable fu*kin life.

And that's Guaranteed!!!!!

Rant Off!!!

Heaven forbid people would protest a bill that polls show most Americans don't want, but is being shoved down their throats anyways, by any corrupt means possible.

I don't have a problem with people protesting - what I have a problem with is cowards using cowardly means to express their racism.

If you repeat a lie long enough people will believe it. If you actually TELL people what is in the bill support for it goes up substantially. Republicans set the bar so low if the world doesn't end after the bill is passed Dems win.

The issue is that this nation is filled with lazy, stupid human sheep who don't research anything, even if it has a profound effect on their lives. They believe any lie the republicans tell, even after they themselves via Bush, put the country in this recession.

The stupid, idiot tea baggers, don't even know the republican agenda - defeat health care and you defeat Obama {Which is their agenda}. They know they are lying non-stop to the protesters, but who cares when you have a bunch of uninformed, racist idiots flooding the streets for the republican cause.

People voted for a center/right Obama, the way he was portrayed in the press. What they got is lunatic left Obama, which his voting record already told us.

That's pretty messed up, but it's no reason to damn the entire movement, which as a whole just wants less taxes and less government intrusion in their lives.

So I take it you've read the 2500 page bill? Then you know about the additional 17K IRS employees whose sole purpose is to make sure you have adequate (determined by them) health insurance for your employees, or if you're self employed, yourself, or face the penalties.

A lot of these people are operatives. Not real every day people.

That said, the Tea Party movement was successfully hijacked by Dick Armey and Karl Rove.
