than the other way around. Great interview with Freddie Roach.

I dont see how anyone in there right mind can say it's harder to go from boxing to mma then it is to go from mma to boxing. Most guys on sherdog even know better.
First off.. MMA is what it says. Mixed. If you have already mastered that one aspect, then you at least being a boxer have a punchers chance. It's about being good at 2-3 things rather then mastering one art.
Iv'e never heard of MMA guy's transfering over to boxing and suceeding, but there are multiple guys who come from boxing and do ok. Some better then others. Most if not all the guys who go over are failed or past it boxers.Comment

Roach should learn the difference between MMA and the UFC. In the US MMA has almost no fans. The UFC has tons of them.
Worldwide boxing is fine. Waste of an interview. He's just trying to get uFC guys to come train with him to make money. Yawn.Comment

MMA imo has kind of hit its peak. I don't see it getting bigger than what it is. This may be me hating but whenever I see their ppvs numbers it seems to be around 400,000 unless a major guy is fighting(gsp, silva). It seems like thats there fan base and it really hasn't picked up much momentum. Also, boxing is cheap to partake in and will always be the worlds sport. It's like soccer v football. Soccer will always be number 1 due to the fact it is cheap as hell.Comment
