Default Boxing shoe recommendations

Hello there,

My current shoes are falling apart after a year and a half so it's about time to switch into some new ones. I need some help figuring out what kind of shoe or boot would work for me. I was currently in a pair of Adidas Ataak shoes.
I'm debating going to with a hi top over a lo-top shoe this time. Are there any cons to going with a taller boot? Any pros? Any models I should steer clear of?

I am currently thinking of going with the Rival High Top Boots

Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks in advance.

Anything better than my 60 dollar lace up's... Look at Everlast top of the range stuff, they alway's seem to be quite good.
