I didn't enjoy that one much but it seems like Eminem is trying to get mainstream, probably do a halftime show in a few years. What I did like was the Chrysler commercial. I myself only drive GM's but I thought they captured Detroit and the passion of the city. We are some tough mother ****ers. People wonder why a state like Michigan has such a great history for boxing talent, the commercial kind of gives you some insight. People think they are tough and Americans are soft but if you come here you would realize there's always someone bigger, tougher, and wants it more than you.

Eminem is already mainstream.

He does at least 1 cheesy record per album which he uses as a lead single, that made him mainstream a long time ago.

First album went quadruple-platinum, seond album went diamond (10M), he was mainstream from the beginning.

He's not mainstream to the level of doing a half time show or to the national media. For the longest time Eminem would not be touched by any company for their advertising but now it seems like he is fixing his act up so he can be mainstream.

Music wise he might be mainstream but up until now he was never looked at a guy that could not be marketed because of his past lyrics and the such. I think he's a douche bag but if he starts doing good things for the city instead of making songs about getting shot up in Detroit, I'm all for it.
