  • Kessler-Ward in jeopardy?

    Things are not in order.

    http://ekstrabladet.dk/

Thats the clear message from Mikkel Kessler's german promotor, Wilfried Sauerland before saturdays Super Six, and world championship fight, against californian Andre Ward.

"It's the California Athletic State Commision that has appointed the judges and referee, and they have chosen 2 Californian judges, and on top of that a Californian referee", a furious Sauerland tells ekstrabladet.dk

"Obviously we will make a complaint to the WBA. The consequence can be that Mikkel wont fight saturday. Because the WBA rules regarding the impartialness of judges are quite clear, the german boxing "legend" said."

The situation might run hot, around noon when the pressconference is held with all involved parties at Oakland city hall. That is 21 danish time - ekstrabladet.dk will be there.

No other choice. He's got to knock him out.

this has the same feel as malignaggi and diaz. difference is in this fight kess can KO ward.

i dont think they will call off the fight, no boxer after putting himself through a training camp is going to not bother setting foot in the ring.

is it just me or does controversy seem to follow kess? just yesterday there were issues over what his status was as a title holder with the WBA, was he the interim belt holder, the super champ, blah blah blah. to top it all off now there are concerns over the judges.

Why can't we just have some straight up boxing on occasion. This is on such a grand stage.. why pull this two home state judge bull****. Why not just absolve any doubt from the situation and appoint officials no one can reasonably complain about.

If Kessler is the real deal, it won't matter who the judges are.

Should Kessler be robbed because of something that happened in england?
Froch didn't have two English judges did he?

                    Ward is a ****ing disgrace
