Nice way of rewriting history.
The plan was for Pacquiao to move up to 135 and take on the "easiest" champ in David Diaz. He was to stay in the division as there were a number of options there. But then came along oscar de la hoya and larry merchant, who had this crazy idea of fighting pacquiao. Enough money was on the table, pacquiao accepts, goes up in weight, beats oscar easily and the rest is history. No need to go from 147 back to 135. The logical thing to do was stay go to 140 and fight Ricky Hatton. |

seriously, Guzman had the best shot at fighting Pacquiao over a year ago but it fell through, and you cant really blame bob arum for not having Pac fight him. |
