Default Is Bernard Hopkins the REAL king of the catchweight?

Since moving up to LHW and beating Tarver for the Ring Magazine title, Hopkins has fought 3 fights, all catchweight fights. First Wright at 170, then Calzaghe at 173, and finally Pavlik at 170. So in other words, since moving up to LHW, Hopkins has not fought a single fight at the division limit.

Now I know many will say, "well those guys were coming up in weight, and Hopkins was accomodating them with the catchweight". This may be true, but is there more to it?

Is it possible that Hopkins strategically moved to 175 in order to lure smaller fighters into catchweight fights? I mean, let's face it, did Hopkins need to move up to 175 if he was just going to fight 2 middleweights and a super middleweight? And how can Hopkins be seen as the top LHW around if he hasn't faced one single LHW contender or champion?

I know a lot of people bash Hopkins because he's for the most part always been the bigger man, and I myself don't, but I can see the point being made.

The Calzaghe fight wasn't a catchweight fight.

Both fighters simply just weighed in at 173 at the weigh in.
