First of all, i think Froch won. If it would have been an amateur bout, then yes, Dirrell should have won couse he piled up more points. But the thing is that this is PRO boxing, Froch is the CHAMPION, you can't take the belt away by running away. He hit Froch a lot but those were flashy shots, Froch landed the harder blows, which count more in PRO boxing. I dunno why it took the ref so long to take away a point from Dirrell, that was just ugly. Froch was the AGGRESSOR, CHAMPION and landed the harder blows in my view. NB! Dirrells handspeed is sick, give the boy some time and he could DEFINATELY be something special in pro boxing.
My thoughts on the Froch/Dirrell fight..

This wasn't a robbery. A close fight but not a robbery. Running away from the champ and holding constantly doesn't win you the belt.Comment

Nor does plodding around without commiting to getting on the inside and landing 3 punches a round.
Dirrell didn't do enough? But Froch did absolutely nothing... You've done enough when you've done more than the other guy and Dirrell beat Froch comfortablyComment

I didn't think Froch landed much of anything. A lot of what he landed was on the shoulders and arms.
He was the aggressor and came forward, but couldn't cut off the ring and trap Dirrell. He was ineffective, IMO.Comment
