What I have heard about dancing is that its all about the shape of you foot arches . In normal dancing a guy with flat foot arches cant dance and a guy with curved foot arches can dance . Dose ayone know if that applies to dancing in boxing aswell ? .
What makes a fighter fleet footed able to dance ? .

Well, let's say I am flat footed but BOY CAN I DANCE!
To be honest I've sparred with a lot of guys who had a lot more arched feet than I do and their footwork wasn't too great, it's just something someone needs to personally concentrate on. The only difference is that I really concentrate on my footwork and that's what usually saves me most of the time. My footwork and upper body movement considering I am usually the smaller guy mos to of the time.
But what I do notice with guys with more arched feet is that they have the higher possibility of have faster and more explosive footwork than flat footed guys.
Let's say after expending all of that energy on footing that at the end of the day my lower feet tendons and ankles are killing me...sometimes.
