The Fight I want to see get made next year is Cotto vs Hatton

I really hope Hatton returns and takes on Cotto next year. I just come to the realization that Floyd won't fight Cotto, and after Miguel rematches Margarito, this is the fight I hope gets made. For some reason I really think this will be an all out war even though I see Miguel taking it.

At 147, I think Cotto KO's Hatton pretty badly. Would be a war while it lasted though. I'd rather see Hatton vs Marquez at 140.

FWIW Im not the type to write off fighters if they have a bad loss. I remember 10 years ago when Manny lost a fight in a more brutal fashion than Hatton did and Manny still came back. I really hope Ricky comes back because he is good for the sport and there are some good matches left for him such as a Marquez, Diaz, and Ortiz fight.

Yeah but not Cotto at 147. Ricky has shown he doesnt have the physicality (and probably not the ability) to hang at 147. He mightve had a chance with Cotto at 140 a few years ago but not now.

I actually think it would be close until miguel pulls away around the 9th or so round. Ricky isnt that bad....he just got caught by Pacquiao which is still fresh on peoples mind. Before then He had a close fight with Floyd and against common opponents Ricky has done just as good as Cotto.

Cotto would KO hatton even at 140. Cotto would come in weight-drained and show you how real boxers fight, behind a jab and great body-work. Weight drain Cotto KO'S hatton.

I like Cotto but he isnt the type to massacre anyone. I cant think of any A or B class fighter that he has destroy. Beat but not destroyed.
