The subjective p4p lists are based on many things, like resume, dominance of wins, etc.
Mayweather was ranked #1 when he retired 22 months ago and I guess they felt that he was dominating enough in his win over Marquez to show that he's back in the same form. #2 is a bit high, but it is what it is. Just a list made up by a bunch of journalists, most of who never stepped in the ring, or lifted a jockstrap. |

Let's be fair to him reed Froid did fight a career fw/sfw at ww so in hindsight all that proved was Froid can dominate a smaller guy. The real challenges are still out there, and if he uses money as an excuse I'd point out the Mosley is much more widely known than JMM.
