I have to agree with Pink, its like if Chuck Liddell became a boxer and fought nothing but bums and had a record of 40-0...what is he the next Floyd Mayweather to go so far undefeated? No...If any of those guys fought the top competitors in their weight class, they would get RAPED badly, as for the Sylvia reference, Sylvia was an "Elilte" heavyweight about 3 years ago and even then he wasn't anything special.

You have to question the legitimacy and match making of the earlier UFC's.It was all set up for Royce Gracie to win,hell the whole purpose of the UFC was to advertise Gracie Jiu Jitsu in the first place.

the gracies were part of the ufc but that doesn't discredit the early ufc.

gerard gordeau was a big name in holland kickboxing.

ken shamrock was the #1 shootfighter/catch wrestler in japan at the time.

hardly easy competition at the time. especially since the sport was still new.

How is it a horrible comparison when speaking in context? Dude was the former NABF light heavyweight champion with a professional record of 29-5 at the time and was ranked 10th in the world by the IBF at the time.

TS claims boxing > mma and names boxing journeymen who beating up on some random bar brawlers that are the mma equivalent of tomato cans to support his claim. I counter by showing a boxer with a record of a fringe world contender gettin assraped by a real martial artist that the boxer even outweighed by 30lbs so it's a perfectly valid comparison in context.
