Wear two pairs of handwraps. Get bigger gloves. Put a piece of a sponge over your knuckles inside your wraps.

I've never broken my hand but have injured my knuckles several times so I wear two pairs of 180" mexican wraps with sponge over my knuckles and haven't had any problems since. 14oz gloves for heavybag and pads, 16 or 18oz gloves for sparring (depends on who I'm sparring with).
