Default scathing on knuckles after bag punching

Anyone know how to prevent this? I wrap my hands before I put on the gloves, and my pinky and wedding ring knuckles keep scathing. I think there mightve been scar tissue from before from punching without gloves, just workout gloves.

Would tape over my knuckles prevent this? it starts to hurt after a wound opens.

you shouldnt be hitting anything without gloves. what kind of gloves are you using? If your wounds are reopening it would be best to wait a short while for your hands to heal, do other stuff. Otherwise just keep at it.

it is because you are hitting the bag wildly, you are hitting the bag with your hands in an open position you are slapping the bag, that is why your pinky and your ring fingers are the only ones getting scathed, you are not ready to hit a bag yet,so here is a tip,do not put any gloves on,stand in front of a mirror in a boxing stance and throw out a jab, jab, right,do this for about one month, then you can start hitting a bag

I never hit the heavy bag, it causes redness of the knuckles. The heavy bag is overrated in my opinion, stick to the speed bag and put cotton balls on your knuckles under your wraps.
