Is there a rivalry between Tex-Mex, Mexico, and Mexicans from Cali or do you like all your fighters equally? I noticed alot of Mexicans don't care for guys like DLH or Vargas, but they're always embraced by Mexican-Americans.

mexicans dont like oscar because he is a little b!tch that doesnt fight like a mexican, which would be with a lot of heart
also because he fought an old a$$ JCC and beat him

Are you Mexican? If so is there any rivalry between Mexican-Americans and Mexicans? I know alot of you guys were pissed when Oscar beat Julio.

Watch what oscar did against tito when he was winning the fight. That's why he get's no love. Fighters when are old may quit on the stool (chavez) or may not have it but they earn it in their prime. Look at what erik did vs manny when he was winning the fight. See the diffrence beetwen erik and oscar? Oscar quit fighting and erik kept fighting when he had the w in the 1st fight. Mexicans will respect u if u give it your all. I dont like vargas but he always went balls out so we respect him oscar didnt thats why he gets the hate

Word just wondering. I just always felt you guys always liked Vargas more even though Oscar was better. I think Mexicans like Vargas' attitude. Oscar is a pretty boy and I always got the feeling it didn't sit well with alot Mexican fans. I remember when they fought alot of Mexicans wanted Vargas to win. I think Oscar lost alot of his Mexican fans when he didn't come at Tito.

I like them equally..... Vargas Chavez De La Hoya Ricardo Lopez are some of my favorite Mexican fighters.... It really doesnt matter where they are from....

What made it worse was it was against a p.r. that broke alot of mexicans fans hearts. I remember my uncles being furious that night and never rooted for him again
