Default can someone help me !!

hi everyone
i started boxing in about 2 weeks
i didn't went to a gym cuz i wanted to learn more and master the basic moves so i bought gloves and sandbag and headgear and now after i trained in my house my left hand is killing me it hurt so much cuz i'm orthodox so i used jab alot but my right hand is not as pain as the left cuz i don't do straits alot
and when i punch the sandbag it hurt like hell. so my question is " is it normal for me or should i let it rest for days "

P.S. i have alot other questions i will ask it later but this is the important one

your first mistake is not going to a gym. These posts are getting better.

you are not orthodox, you just do not know how to throw a punch, you lack the wisdom of a fighter, isuggest you go to the local gym and ask for a boxing trainer that should put you on the right track,i hope that i have been helpful and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask

You said you bought gloves, a sandbag (I hope you mean a sand filled heavy bag and not just a bag of sand from Home Depot), but did you buy handwraps? Handwraps provide protection/padding for your knuckles, and support for your hand and wrist. Hit the bag without wearing them and you're going to be hurting.

If you have a gym in your area, go to it. You said you wanted to master the basics, but without someone to show you how to do it properly you won't master anything. And if you ever do go to a gym after teaching yourself the basics, you are going to have a bunch of bad habits you have tought yourself that you will have to un-learn.

do you know how to play chess,if so play chess,i do not think you belong anywhere near a boxing ring, you seem to lack the mind set of a fighter so play chess and watch boxing on tv,and for training take up jogging

no it is not that at all,you are not a fighter, did the bag fall on your head and knock you out, that is why you are in a haze, see if there is any sand in your ears if so clean your ears and refill the bag with sand and try again, jab jab boom right hand
