Default Carl Thompson

What do you think of Carl The Cat? He was an exciting fighter for sure and he beat some good fighters like Chris Eubank, David Haye, Nicky Piper, Sebastian Rothmann, Ralf Rocchigiani, Terry Dunstan. He had a long and quite fruitful career. Who would've thought that at 40 he'd be able to stop Haye? He had a great chin without a doubt. All the shots he took from one of the hardest punchers today and he remained on his feet!

I loved the Cat. He was all action and heart. His fights with Eubank were epic wars!!!!!! His ko of Haye shows just how much heart he has. Thompson was my favorite British fighter of all time

one of the most exciting fighters that we've ever seen come from GB, you could always be sure with the cat that you weren't going to get a boring fight his fights with rothman and sellers were pure drama.

hes probably more well known for beating haye and eubank but in all honestly all of his fights were exciting. if i had to get a mate of mine to get into boxing id take him to see a carl thompson fight

One of the best and underrated to come out of britian, was a true warrior, a bit like a poor man's mathew sadd muhammed, was always excting to watch and never in a dull fight

Thompson was a very solid fighter. underappreciated by the british public.

Putting a green Haye in with him was a dumb idea though

great value-for-money fighter, his 2 fights with Chris Eubanks are as good as any fights in british boxing history
