Default Cotto vs Pacquiao talk reminds me of Cotto vs Margarito Talk in 2008...

It's so funny how things end up turning out in Boxing.

What I've been noticing about Pac vs Cotto is many people are lining up right alongside Pacquiao as the favorite in the fight similar to how many were with Cotto against Margarito. Pacquiao is looked at as the smaller, but quicker guy while Cotto is the stronger puncher with decent speed.

Now put into the equation that Manny has a huge fight looming with a victory over Cotto, similar to what Cotto had in front of him with a victory over Margarito (i.e. a fight with De La Hoya).

All I'm saying is, history has a weird way of repeating itself in some type of fashion. How ironic would it be if it was Cotto who trumped Manny's biggest payday. Something to think about...
